- Buy Duomo rooftop tickets online in advance at ticket.duomomilano.it: stairs access is 16 euros full price (8 reduced) and elevator access is 18 euros full (9 reduced), both cheaper than the 28-euro fast-track elevator option.
- Skip single 2.20-euro ATM tickets if you are making more than a few trips; a 24-hour transit pass is 7.60 euros and a 3-day pass is 15.50 euros.
- Take the Malpensa Express train, 15 euros one way and about 52 minutes, instead of a taxi from Malpensa Airport unless traveling as a group; if you do take a taxi, ask for the fixed fare, around 70 euros to Malpensa, rather than the meter.
