Terms of Service

Last updated July 2026. This is a plain-language summary for the MVP and will be expanded before public launch.

1. Who can use RuinMyTrip

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account, and at least 18 to host or attend meetups. You are responsible for keeping your account secure.

2. Your content

You own what you post. By posting, you grant RuinMyTrip a license to display and distribute it within the service. Don't post content you don't have the right to share.

3. Acceptable use

Follow our Community Guidelines. No harassment, hate, scams, sexual or adult content, or unsafe activity. We may remove content and suspend accounts that break the rules.

4. Meetups

Meetups are optional, public, community connections — not dating or hookups. You attend at your own risk and agree to follow our Meetup Safety guidance.

5. Reviews and accuracy

Reviews must reflect genuine experiences. Fake, paid, or retaliatory reviews are prohibited.

6. Liability

RuinMyTrip is provided “as is.” We are not responsible for interactions between users or for third-party services, bookings, or businesses.

7. Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use means you accept the changes.
