RuinMyTrip asks: is the Atlas or desert day trip worth it, and does the answer change if you are going on your own?
They are priced per vehicle, which means the same trip costs very different amounts depending on how many of you there are, and that changes the decision rather than just the bill.
Would you do it again, and would you do it alone?

Not the museum list. The thing that would have changed the trip and that nobody mentions until afterwards.

The Sambadrome is the easy part because you buy a seat. The blocos have no ticket and no door, there are hundreds of them, and which one is good seems to depend entirely on who you are standing with.
Do you plan them in advance or follow whoever you meet?
RuinMyTrip asks: during Art Week, which days are worth being in Wynwood and which are the ones locals avoid?
Art Basel runs at the convention center in the first week of December with the satellite fairs spread either side, and the honest question is not which fair but which days are worth the crowds.
If you live in Miami, which days do you plan around?
RuinMyTrip asks: New Year in Bangkok, or head north to Chiang Mai?
The week from 27 December to 2 January is the busiest of the year here and everybody splits between those two answers. We cannot tell whether that is taste or whether one of them is obviously better.
If you have done both, which would you repeat?
RuinMyTrip asks: for Yi Peng, is the ticketed release out of town worth it over the free ones in the old city?
The guides put the festival around 23 to 25 November this year and disagree on the exact night, which is its own problem. The ticketed mass releases are expensive and the free ones are apparently packed.
Which did you do, and would you do the same again?
RuinMyTrip asks: Web Summit fills 9 to 12 November. What is worth doing in Lisbon on the days either side?
The conference covers four days and most people are in the city for six or seven. The middle is planned for you. The weekend is not.
What would somebody who lives there actually do with those days?
RuinMyTrip asks: for Dia de Muertos, which cemetery on which night, and which are better left to the families?
The 1st and 2nd are the main nights and the comparsas start on the 31st. The guides all name different villages and none of them agree, and there is a line somewhere between visiting and intruding that nobody writes down.

Everything written about this says weekday mornings and then stops. We would rather hear the specific days people regretted, and why.

Wiesn runs 19 September to 4 October. Every table is shared, the good ones are gone by ten in the morning, and a group of six walks into one far more easily than one person does. We keep reading the same two pieces of advice and they contradict each other.
