RuinMyTrip asks: how do you choose blocos at Carnival when you do not know anybody there?
The Sambadrome is the easy part because you buy a seat. The blocos have no ticket and no door, there are hundreds of them, and which one is good seems to depend entirely on who you are standing with.
Do you plan them in advance or follow whoever you meet?
