This is not a general caution about markups, it is the museum warning that tickets bought elsewhere may not work. The collection is the largest of Van Gogh's work anywhere, arranged broadly chronologically, and the effect of walking a single artist's development from the dark early Dutch work to the last French paintings is something no mixed collection can reproduce.

What nearly ruined the trip
