Park Guell ticket price 2026: 18 euros after an 80 percent jump
by RuinMyTrip Editorial · Aug 26, 2026
Park Guell adult admission is 18 euros in 2026, up from 10 euros, capped at 1,400 visitors an hour. Sagrada Familia is 26 euros, or 36 with towers, plus a centenary surcharge from June through December.
Barcelona's two most famous Gaudi sites both got more expensive in 2026, and neither is a walk-up anymore.
Park Guell
Adult admission is 18 euros, an 80% jump from 10 euros at the start of 2026. Entry is capped at 1,400 visitors per hour on a timed ticket. Book online days ahead. Showing up at the gate in July is how you spend an afternoon in Barcelona not seeing Park Guell.
Sagrada Familia
A standard ticket with audio guide is 26 euros in 2026. Tower access is 36 euros. A centenary surcharge of 2 to 5 euros applies from June through December 2026. Timed entry is mandatory. This is also not a walk-up.
The rest of the 2026 Barcelona bill
The tourist tax effectively doubled on 1 April 2026: 4.50 EUR Catalan regional rate plus 5 EUR city surcharge per person per night, plus 10% VAT. Five-star stays land around 12 EUR per person per night in tax alone. Short-term rentals are about 9.50 EUR. The city surcharge keeps climbing 1 EUR a year through 2029, and every remaining tourist-apartment licence is set to expire by November 2028.
Transit is still the cheap line: a T-Casual 10-ride card is 13 euros in one zone. That does not offset an 8 euro Park Guell increase plus a doubled hotel tax plus a Sagrada surcharge, but it is the one 2026 number in Barcelona that barely moved.
