Nightly rates are not published as a fixed figure and vary with season. The position is the entire proposition. You walk out of the door onto the top of the Steps, with the whole city below and Villa Borghese behind you, and the Via Condotti shopping street running down to the Corso. Nothing else in Rome is placed like this. Eighty-two rooms is small for a hotel of this standing, which is why the service is the other thing people remember.
