Editorial- Add the resort fee before you compare rooms. Strip resort fees run $35 to $55 per night before taxes, and parking is charged on top of that.
- Check the convention calendar before booking. Leisure visitation was up only 0.2 percent in the first half of 2026 while convention attendance rose 12.6 percent, so rates spike on trade-show weeks and sag otherwise.
- Travel in the off-months if you want the discount. June 2026 average daily rate fell 4.4 percent to $156.32 while occupancy dipped to 78.3 percent, which is the softness working in your favour.
- Avoid July and August outdoors. July averages a high of 104.5 F and the record is 120 F, set on July 7, 2024.
- Read the table rules before sitting down. Higher minimums and tighter payout odds are the specific change visitors cite for the value drop, and they vary property to property.
- Use the airport's proximity. Harry Reid International is minutes from the Strip, so short trips work here in a way they do not in most US destinations.
