Pompeii tickets 2026: 20 euros for the site alone

A ticket to Pompeii alone costs 20 euros in 2026, according to the archaeological park's own timetables and tickets page, which lists prices dated 12 January 2026.

Three different tickets

The same official page lists 25 euros for Pompeii together with the suburban villas and Boscoreale, and 30 euros for Pompeii Plus, a three day pass that also covers Oplontis, Villa Arianna, Villa San Marco, the Archaeological Museum of Stabiae and Boscoreale. The smaller sites on their own are 8 euros each. Villa Arianna and Villa San Marco at Stabiae are shown as free. An annual MyPompeii pass is 45 euros, or 10 euros at the reduced rate.

Reduced and free entry

The park publishes a 2 euro reduced rate per site for EU citizens aged 18 to 24 and for eligible residents from outside the EU. Entry is free on the first Sunday of every month, which is also the day the site fills up fastest.

What a couple pays, and the rules that cost money

Two adults on the basic ticket pay 40 euros, and 50 euros if they take the 25 euro version for the villas. The page states a daily cap of 20,000 entries and nominative tickets, so a spare ticket bought for someone who then cannot come is not simply handed on. Winter hours, from 15 October to 14 March, are 9am to 5pm with last entry at 3.30pm, and summer hours are 9am to 7pm with last entry at 5.30pm. The page does not say whether the online booking system adds a service fee on top of these prices.
