Regular admission to the Tel Aviv Museum of Art costs 55 shekels in 2026, according to the museum's own visitor page. Students pay 45 shekels, and senior citizens and visitors with disabilities pay 27 shekels, roughly half the standard rate. Children and young people up to the age of 18 enter free.

Who else gets in free

The free list published by the museum is longer than most. It covers active duty soldiers, national service volunteers and museum members, and extends to journalists, licensed tour guides and ICOM members on presentation of valid identification. The page is blunt that discounts are given only on presentation of a valid certificate or card, so a student who left the card at the hotel pays the full 55 shekels.

One entry, not a day pass

The museum states that the entrance fee provides a single entry to the museum. That matters more than it sounds, because the collection is spread across the main building and the Herta and Paul Amir wing, and stepping out for lunch and coming back is not a free move.

A worked example

Two adults with teenagers aged 14 and 17 pay 110 shekels in total, since both young people are free. Two adults with an adult student in the party pay 155 shekels. Two pensioners pay 54 shekels between them, which is less than one full adult ticket.

What the visitor page does not give is the opening days or the weekly closed day, so anyone planning a specific afternoon should confirm the hours separately before travelling across town.
