Jaipur monument entry fees 2026: 500 rupees for a foreign adult at Amber Fort

A foreign adult pays 500 rupees to enter Amber Fort in 2026, against 100 rupees for an Indian adult, according to the Rajasthan government official booking portal for state monuments. Jaipur levies no per night bed tax on visitors, so monument tickets are the charge the state sets on tourists most directly.

What each site costs

The same portal lists a general ticket of 200 rupees for foreign adults at Hawa Mahal, Jantar Mantar and Nahargarh Fort, with Indian adults at 50 rupees and students paying less on production of a valid identity card. Entry is free for children below 7 years, and free for everyone on four listed days including World Heritage Day on 18 April and World Tourism Day on 27 September.

The composite ticket maths

The composite ticket is 1,000 rupees for a foreign adult and 400 rupees for an Indian adult. Buying separate tickets for Amber Fort, Hawa Mahal, Jantar Mantar and Nahargarh comes to 1,100 rupees for one foreign adult in 2026, so the composite is already 100 rupees cheaper across those four. Two foreign adults doing the same circuit pay 2,000 rupees on composite tickets rather than 2,200.

The portal pages read here do not state how long the composite ticket remains valid or the full list of monuments it admits you to, so the saving above is only proven for the four sites priced above.
