The City Palace Museum in Jaipur charges 400 rupees adult in 2026, 200 reduced, and 500 for the composite ticket, according to its own admission page.
Entry to the City Palace Museum in Jaipur is 400 rupees for an adult in 2026, according to the palace's own admission page. Students, young visitors and children under 12 pay 200 rupees, and the same 200 rupee rate covers senior citizens and defence personnel.
The composite ticket
The composite ticket is 500 rupees adult and 300 rupees reduced, adding more of the complex than the museum ticket alone. The gap over the basic ticket is only 100 rupees, which makes the museum only version rarely the better buy. At the top end, the Chandra Mahal Royal Tour is 4,000 rupees adult and 2,000 reduced, and the small Jaipur Centre for Art is 100 rupees.
Timing and closures
The museum runs 9:30am to 6:30pm seven days a week, with the last tickets sold at 6pm. The page flags that the Museum at Night slot, priced at 510 rupees adult, is temporarily closed, and that the Textile Gallery closes from 27 March 2026 for restoration. The palace also closes on Dhulandi, the second day of Holi, which is the one date in the year to avoid outright.
A worked example
Two adults and one child under 12 on composite tickets pay 1,300 rupees. The same three on museum only tickets pay 1,000 rupees. The rates published on that page are the Indian national and resident rates, and it shows no separate foreign visitor tariff, which is the figure most overseas visitors actually need before they arrive.
