Foreign visitors to Bali pay a levy of 150,000 rupiah in 2026, paid through the official Love Bali portal under Bali Provincial Regulation Number 2 of 2025.
Every foreign tourist arriving in Bali pays 150,000 rupiah in 2026. The provincial government's own Love Bali site shows the amount as "IDR 150,000" on its payment form and names the legal basis as "Bali Provincial Regulation Number 2 of 2025 Amendment to Regional Regulation Number 6 of 2023 concerning the Levy for International Tourists for the Protection of Balinese Culture and Natural Environment".
How it is paid
Payment runs through the Love Bali portal or its app, before arrival or on the day, and produces a voucher to show at a checkpoint. The site runs a payment check that looks for a previous transaction with the same name, passport number, country and arrival date, which is how it avoids charging the same traveller twice.
What a Seminyak trip costs
A family of four staying in Seminyak pays 600,000 rupiah in total, once, whether they stay four nights or fourteen. The amount does not vary by where on the island you sleep, and the portal also carries an exemption route.
What is still unclear
The portal does not state on its front page whether a traveller who leaves Bali and returns within the same trip has to pay a second time, so budget for one payment per arrival.
