Adult entry to the Round Tower is 60 kroner in 2026, students 40, and everyone under 18 goes free, according to the tower's own site.
Adult entry to the Round Tower in Copenhagen costs 60 kroner in 2026, according to the tower's own English language website. Students with valid identification pay 40 kroner, and the same page lists children aged 0 to 17 as free. An ICOM card also carries a discount.
Opening days and hours
The website says the tower operates 362 days a year, which means a small number of closed dates you should check before building a day around it. Summer hours, from April to September, are daily 10 to 20. Winter hours, from October to March, are 10 to 21 on Monday and Tuesday and 10 to 18 from Wednesday to Sunday. The late winter opening on Monday and Tuesday exists because the observatory runs telescope observations from 18 to 21 in those months, weather permitting, so a clear winter evening is the only time the telescope is part of the visit.
A worked example
Two adults and two children under 18 pay 120 kroner in total, because only the adults are charged at all. Two adults and one student pay 160 kroner. There is no family ticket on the price list and no separate senior rate, so a couple in their seventies pays the same 120 kroner as a couple in their thirties.
The site publishes no separate online price, so there is no visible saving from booking ahead, and it does not name the few days a year it closes.
