Nymphenburg Palace tickets 2026: 10 euros for the palace

Nymphenburg Palace charges 10 euros for a palace ticket in 2026, with a reduced rate of 9 euros, according to the Bavarian palace administration's own admission page. Children and young people under 18 are admitted free of charge, and students over 18 at general or vocational schools also enter free with a valid student card, which makes this one of the cheaper major palaces in Europe for a family.

The combination ticket changes with the season

The combination ticket covering the palace, the Marstallmuseum and the park palaces is 20 euros full price and 18 euros reduced in summer, defined as 1 April to 15 October. In winter, from 16 October to 31 March, it drops to 16 euros full and 14 euros reduced, because part of the park estate is closed. Buying the combination in winter therefore costs 4 euros less but covers less ground.

Timed entry applies to the palace

The administration states that for Nymphenburg Palace only tickets with time slots are available, and that admission is possible up to a maximum of one hour after the time chosen. Arrive more than an hour late and the ticket is not guaranteed, which matters if you are combining the palace with the park in one afternoon.

What a family pays

Two adults and two children under 18 pay 20 euros for palace entry alone, because the children are free. The same family on the summer combination ticket pays 40 euros, and on the winter version 32 euros.

The admission page does not list opening hours or closure days, so those need checking separately before booking a time slot.
