Museo Larco tickets 2026: 50 soles general admission

Museo Larco charges 50 soles for general admission in 2026, according to the museum's own visit page. Visitors over 60 pay 35 soles. Students and minors aged 9 to 17 pay 25 soles. Children aged 3 to 8 pay 1 sol, and children aged 0 to 2 are free. That spread means the difference between a well documented family group and a badly documented one is real money at the desk.

Opening days are the easy part

The same page gives opening as Monday to Sunday, 9:00 in the morning to 7:00 in the evening, which is unusually generous for a Lima museum and removes the closed on Monday trap that catches people elsewhere in the city. The exceptions are 24, 25 and 26 December and 1 January, when the museum closes at 6:00 in the evening instead. There is no published gate versus online split, so the price is the price whichever way you buy.

What a family actually pays

Two adults, one child of 10 and one child of 6 pay 50 plus 50 plus 25 plus 1, which is 126 soles. Two adults alone pay 100 soles. A couple over 60 pay 70 soles. Because the 3 to 8 rate is a single sol, a family with young children pays barely more than the two adults would on their own, which is the opposite of how most museum pricing works.

The museum's page does not state whether the student rate needs a Peruvian student card or accepts any valid card, so foreign students should carry documentation and expect the general rate if it is refused.
