Hassan II Mosque tickets 2026: 140 dirhams for foreign adults

A guided visit to the Hassan II Mosque costs 140 dirhams for a foreign adult in 2026, according to the mosque foundation's own site.

Five rates

The foundation lists free entry for children under 4, 30 dirhams for children aged 4 and over and for Moroccan students, 70 dirhams for Moroccan residents and for foreign students, and 140 dirhams for foreign adults. A private visit for up to 10 people is 2,200 dirhams and must be reserved in advance. Groups of more than 100 people are given 50 percent off.

Fixed departure times

The mosque is open to visitors only on guided tours at set hours, which is the part that costs people a wasted trip. From Saturday to Thursday tours leave at 9:00, 10:00, 11:00 and 12:00 in the morning and at 15:00 and 16:00 in the afternoon. On Friday there are only four departures: 9:00, 10:00, 15:00 and 16:00. The tour takes in the prayer hall, the minaret hall and the ablution room. Arriving between slots means waiting for the next one.

Worked example

Two foreign adults pay 280 dirhams. A family of two foreign adults and two children over 4 pays 340 dirhams if the child rate applies to them, or 560 if it does not. Two foreign students with valid cards pay 140 dirhams between them, the price of one adult.

Still unclear: the price list does not state plainly whether the 30 dirham child rate is open to foreign children or only to Moroccan ones.
