National WWII Museum tickets 2026: 37 dollars adult, 9 for the films

Adult admission to the National WWII Museum in New Orleans is 37 dollars in 2026, according to the museum's own visit page, and the films inside cost extra.

The published rates

The museum lists 34 dollars for seniors aged 65 and over, 27 dollars for students from kindergarten through college, 27 dollars for military visitors with identification, and free entry for children under 5, for WWII veterans and for members. Nothing on the page suggests a different price at the door than online.

The add ons that catch people out

General admission does not include the two theatre experiences. Beyond All Boundaries is 9 dollars, the Priddy Family Freedom Theater is 9 dollars, and a combined ticket for both is 12 dollars. A second day pass is 15 dollars. The USS Tang submarine experience is included with admission.

A family of four, and the closed days

Two adults and two students on general admission come to 128 dollars. Adding the 12 dollar film combination for all four takes it to 176 dollars, and a second day for everyone adds 60 dollars more. The museum is open daily from 9am to 5pm and is closed on Mardi Gras Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, which matters in a city where Mardi Gras is exactly when visitors are in town. Beyond All Boundaries runs on the hour from 10am to 4pm, so a late afternoon arrival can miss it.
